Sarah runs retreats from her mountain smallholding above Pontardawe. Deeply connected with the natural landscape this is a place to unwind, revitalise and take a breath.

The space is available to rent for workshops and retreats on an hourly, daily or weekend basis.

  • Cwm yr Heol Farm

    Sanctuary

    Nestled between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower, Cwm yr Heol is a small holding and wildlife haven, above the village of Pontardawe. With 19 acres of ancient wildflower meadows, woodland and orchard, it is a sanctuary from the busy world, a place to renew. Wander the gardens, take in the breathtaking scenery and recharge in the fresh mountain air.

    Forage

    Growing medicinal herbs and using them to make tinctures, salves and teas, using the beehives for honey, wax and propolis. Vegetables and herbs grown with permaculture methods, this is a place to learn about nourishing ourself from the land. With over 200 species of wildflower, tree and mushroom, there is endless opportunities for learning about how nature can heal us.

  • Cwm yr Heol Kitchen

    Farmhouse

    The farmhouse can accommodate 10 beds, and there’s a meditation space that seats about 16 on yoga mats. There is a toilet and shower next to the gathering space and kitchen and reading space.

  • Cwm yr heol yurt

    Yurt

    The 16ft yurt is also available as a workshop or bed space. It can seat 12 people comfortably and has a wood burning stove. It is in a private orchard and is a very beautiful space.

  • Gathering Space

    The meditation room has beautiful light and is a very soothing space. It can fit around 20 people, comfortably.

    There is an adjoining bathroom and separate kitchen for making tea.
